Stress Management for the Police Service
South Wales Police have commissioned the Learning Industries’ Stress Management e-Learning package. The package is being customised to the specific requirements of the police service and specifically to meet the needs of the South Wales Police Force.
The Stress Management e-learning package has been designed to tackle the growing problem of stress related illness within the workplace. The package provides an awareness of stress and its symptoms, sources of help and advice and self help techniques for dealing with stress.
The package is being customised to provide examples and case studies relevant to the police service, to describe the support structures and policies in place within the Force and to link to related health and welfare provision.
The package will be produced, within the Learning Industries e-Learning Delivery Shell, to integrate with the South Wales Force’s Kallidus Learning Management System. The package will incorporate a video introduction from the Chief Constable and will use animated characters (talking heads) to deliver key messages within the package.
