e-Learning Admin System v1.5

Learning Industries have released version 1.5 of their e-Learning Administration System. This version marks a major rebuild of the system and incorporates a wide range of new features.
The Learning Industries e-Learning Administration System was introduced in June 2004 to support the delivery of Learning Industries' e-learning courses by providing user management, progress tracking and recorded assessment. Since then the system has been installed in a large number of organisations and forms a major element of their corporate e-learning delivery. Since its introduction the system has undergone a progressive programme of improvement and has been adapted to support an increasing range of requirements.
The development of version 1.5 of the e-Learning Administration System has incorporated a major development of the system architecture to accommodate a range of new features and to enable the continued development of the system in the future. Version 1.5 now incorporates:
- LDAP / Active Directory User Authentication
- User Self Registration and Account Activation
- Enhanced Organisational and User Group Management
- Increased Secondary Administration Facilities
- Enhanced User/Course Reporting Facilities
- Improved Course Delivery Shell
- Updated XHTML/CSS Support
Despite the major improvements incorporated into this release of the system, version 1.5 also represents a stepping stone towards the release of version 2 of the system, which is currently under development. Version 2 will bring an even larger range of advances. Watch this space…
