Suffolk Vulnerable Adult Protection Project Grows
Suffolk Constabulary and Suffolk Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust have both subscribed to the Suffolk Vulnerable Adult Protection e-Learning project. The Vulnerable Adult Protection e-Learning package, currently under development for Suffolk County Council, will now also be installed within each of these additional partner organisations.
The Protection of Vulnerable Adults (POVA) e-Learning package, originally developed for the South Wales Adult Protection Forum, has been customised to the requirements of the Suffolk Vulnerable Adult Protection Committee, and to reflect their inter-agency policy, operational procedures and staff guidance. The package has also been adapted to provide instruction on the use of the new electronic referral form, to be introduced shortly within the county.
The e-learning package will provide both awareness and procedural training to staff across the county.
