Drug Chart e-Learning for Dublin
The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, Dublin, Ireland has commission Learning Industries to produce a version of the Prescribing and Administration e-Learning package to support the launch of an updated drug chart within the hospital.
Learning Industries are now working with a team comprising pharmacy, nursing and clinical staff, under the direction of the Drug Safety Committee and the Risk Management Committee, to develop a customised version of the e-learning package, tailored to reflect the specific features of the new Mater Hospital drug chart and their updated prescribing and administration standards.
The package will also be extended to cover the use of the hospital's discharge prescription and diabetic supplementary prescribing sheets. The e-learning will highlight common errors and key procedural issues when using these sheets in association with the general drug chart.
