New e-Training Managed Service

Learning Industries have today launched a new online service to enable small and private sector organisations to access e-learning packages covering mandatory training issues. The service enables small organisations to purchase training on a ‘per-seat’ basis, whilst retaining the full user tracking, reporting and learning management facilities familiar to Learning Industries’ corporate clients.
The system is currently being trialled in collaboration with Neath Port Talbot Social Services, delivering tailored e-learning on the Protection of Vulnerable Adults to the council’s private and voluntary sector care home providers.
The service enables the individual organisations to track and report the progress and attainment of their own users; but also enables a commissioning body to oversee the delivery of training to its contractors. The system incorporates a user certification facility enabling individual users to print and retain their own evidence of completion for review or profession development purposes.
The new service enables organisations to buy individual user licenses for specific e-learning courses, and to distribute those licenses amongst its staff, as-and-when required. Licenses can be paid for online, using standard credit card payment facilities, or can be invoiced to the organisation or to the commissioning body.
Following the pilot programme, the system will be rolled out to provide access to a wide range of Learning Industries’ e-learning packages, for small and medium sized organisations.
Lynne Moore, Learning Industries’ Creative Director, said, “This is a significant development for the company, enabling us to cascade a wide range of essential training from our corporate clients to smaller providers throughout the country. In the very near future we will have e-learning titles including The Mental Capacity Act, Medicines Management, Domestic Violence, Health and Safety and Manual Handling available.”
