Health Records Management e-Learning
Gwent Healthcare NHS Trust have commissioned Learning Industries to develop an e-learning module on Health Records Management.
Health records management is an essential element in the delivery of high quality patient care. The new e-learning package will raise awareness and support the consistent implementation of a framework of standards; designed to ensure that personal information (of staff or patients) is processed, stored and managed, legally, securely, efficiently and effectively. The training will help ensure that all members of staff comply with the law and adhere to best practice when handling personal information.
The package will cover the key topics of: Information Governance, Information Security and Confidentiality, Records and Waiting List Management, Data Quality, Clinical Coding and Audit; and will be available to all members of staff within the Trust via a local implementation of the Learning Industries’ e-Learning Administration System.
