Dignity and Respect e-Learning

The Dignity and Respect e-Learning module provides training to ensure that clinical and administrative staff understand the importance of dignity within the provision of quality healthcare.

The module describes and illustrates the key aspects of dignity and provides a '10 Point Dignity Challenge Toolkit' to support staff in assessing and improving the level of dignity within all aspects of their care and service provision.

Each Dignity Challenge is outlined and illustrated with patient stories. Examples of good practice are provided and the user then is asked to consider how the challenge is currently embedded and may be further implemented in their own professional practice or work area.

The e-learning package incorporates a range of scenarios and case studies to illustrate both good and bad practice and includes videos describing patient experiences of dignity and respect within the healthcare system.

The package can be used with the Learning Industries e-Learning Administration System to provide learner management, user tracking and recorded assessment or can be packaged for delivery in third-party SCORM-compliant Learning Management Systems.
