Protection of Vulnerable Adults e-Learning
description:
The Protection of Vulnerable Adults e-learning module provides training for staff within public sector agencies and their partner organisations. The package is designed to be used by any member of staff that could potentially come into contact with vulnerable adults.
The package covers an awareness of vulnerable adults and adult abuse, a description of the types and indicators of abuse; and details of role and responsibility of staff in reporting the suspicion or disclosure of abuse following multi-agency safeguarding policies and referral procedures.
This package was originally developed on behalf of and in collaboration with the South Wales Adult Protection Forum, with subject matter contributions from a wide range of practitioners from acute health care, primary care, criminal justice and social service backgrounds.
The package can be used with the Learning Industries e-Learning Administration System to provide learner management, user tracking and recorded assessment or can be packaged for delivery in third-party SCORM-compliant Learning Management Systems.
