Information Governance is an essential component in the delivery and management of high quality patient care.
The patient's journey through the healthcare system and the delivery of appropriate treatment depends upon the effective management of accurate personal and clinical patient records.
Learning Industries are working with 5 Boroughs Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to develop a single, unified e-learning package covering Information Governance and Records Management.
The topics covered by the new unified e-learning package include:
- Data Protection
- Disclosing Information
- Information Security
- Freedom of Information
- Records Management
The package will be delivered to all employees who handle person-identifiable or other sensitive information.
