Clinical risk assessment involves collecting detailed information in order to identify these risks. Clinical risk management involves developing flexible strategies aimed at preventing or minimising these risks.

The Clinical Risk Assessment e-Learning module introduces the concepts of clinical risk, risk assessment and risk management. The module illustrates the procedures and tools used within the clinical risk screening and assessment process; and identifies the methodologies for accurate history taking and information gathering as part of the care planning process.

The package can be used with the Learning Industries e-Learning Administration System to provide learner management, user tracking and recorded assessment or can be packaged for delivery in third-party SCORM-compliant Learning Management Systems.
